Welcome to Eagle Creek Children’s Dentistry, where we strive to create a dental experience for your child that gets them excited about coming to the dentist. We want your child to enjoy dental visits as a learning experience that lasts a lifetime. Education
Dr. Sara Viernes has been working in the dental field since 1993. She began working as a dental assistant in a family practice dental office in Idaho during her undergraduate education. Her experience in the dental field led her to choose dentistry as her career path. She began working for Indiana University School of Dentistry's Oral Facial Development clinics in 1995, as an undergraduate student, and decided her passion was in treating children. Dr. Sara graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 2002, and sought opportunities to practice dentistry among children as a General Dentist.
" Children's dentistry is the beginning of the dental experience, what we create here, in this dental experience, can easily determine a child's perception of dentistry for a lifetime." Dr. Sara has a strong commitment to promoting oral health through education in her community. She volunteers to educate expectant mother's, Early Head Start and Head Start programs across the community on the importance of oral health. She also is an active participant in Indiana's Dental Advisory Panel on oral health issues among children utilizing Indiana Medicaid Services.
