Education
Dr. Jim Lichtsinn is a lifetime resident of Moorhead, MN and graduated from Concordia College with honors. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1983. After graduating, he completed a post-doctoral general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis and was an instructor at the U of M School of Dentistry. He returned to Moorhead in 1986 and purchased the practice of Dr. Louis Remark, where he enjoyed 21 years working in the Dental Associates Building. In January 2008, Dr. Lichtsinn relocated his practice to Fargo and established his state-of-the-art clinic at Southpointe Dental. Dr. Lichtsinn’s passion for dentistry has led him to study at the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry and the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. His extensive studies at these prestigious institutes include: dental implants, reconstructive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and treatment of TMJ dysfunction. He attends 30-50 hours of advanced dental continuing education annually.
